The "Shou-Sugi Ban": an ancestral Japanese method of carbonising wood is reborn from its ashes in a rather unexpected way... Two wallpapers were born of a wonderful encounter with another artist from Lille: Loïc Henrio (Burn Prod).

The latter, a delicate pyromaniac, burnt a lot of woodwork and some of the old furniture in our designer's house, with his blessing!

Christophe wanted to share his personal passion and pleasure by producing this bewitching, unusual material effect.

These blackened, textured planks radiate a deep visual warmth and add a real cachet that's both chic and designer. As well as being original, the noble and refined result offers a raw aesthetic, enhanced by a finely crackled surface.

An eclectic artist, this DJ also happens to be a gentle pyromaniac... His mastery of wood burning, combined with the Japanese art of Shou Sugi Ban, reveals a raw, contemporary and mystical nature.
